The Gift and the Curse

Hey everyone,

Wanted to write something a little more human than a changelog.

The blessing part

A project like ZeroClaw can be a huge gift. People care about running agents on their own hardware, the ideas are fun, and when something actually works it feels like you're helping real people ship — not just pushing bits around.

That's the part that keeps you going.

The other side

The flip side is real too. Open source at this scale is a lot of work: triage, reviews, docs, keeping up with platforms, and sometimes attention you didn't really ask for — good and bad. It can get loud.

None of that is a complaint, exactly. It's just the job. But it's worth saying out loud so nobody thinks it's all vibes and green graphs.

What I'm holding onto

The ethos for me is pretty simple: keep shipping, keep delivering work I'm proud of. Everything else we figure out as we go.

I'm a human — I'm uncertain about the future, same as anyone. Anyone who says they've got it all mapped out is probably selling something. I'm just here day by day to see what happens next.
